Day 155

Sunday 18th January

I love taking pics of Hunter asleep now, he is always on his tummy and he finds lots of snuggly time with Monkey. Today I snuck in and took some when he was waking up.

Where's Mum...? I can hear her...

Hmm... where is she?

:o there she is!

Day 154

Saturday 17th January

Hunter is 5 months old today! We did some shopping yesterday and we got Hunter his high chair! I kinda thought he was ready for solids, as he watches eat and mimes chewing, lol. So got some rice cereal and some little jars of puree'd fruit to see how he goes... he had his first "meal" at lunchtime today!

Mmmm... baby rice cereal!

Hmm what is this thing?

Dunno if I'm loving this...

It's not like my usual stuff!

You want some?

Day 153

Friday 16th January

Hunter in a "big boy" shirt! He got this for Christmas off his great-grandma. He looks pretty spunky in it! ;)

Day 152

Thursday 15th January

Maybe he's praying? Lol

Day 151

Wednesday 14th January

This is how Hunter sleeps now.

I always put him down on his back, but he rolls over now all the time and everytime we go in to check on him, or get him up, he's nearly always on his tummy

Day 150

Tuesday 13th January

Because today was predicted to be disgustingly hot, Paul and Diane invited us all around to their place to take advantage of their air conditioning (and company) so that Hunter would not have to spend all day in our house. Paula and Daisy came over so Hunter and Daisy got another playdate. Daisy is crawling now, getting around everywhere and into everything! She is so funny, she has just learned to clap so she was doing it all the time and of course we were all laughing at her everytime she did it. Hunter got to taste her strawberry yoghurt dessert and apple custard and seemed to like both of them! It was lovely and cool inside and Hunter really seemed to enjoy it. He was so quiet and well behaved... he barely made a peep all day! We went outside a couple of times and it was shocking...apparently it got to 39 at Avalon Airport, and our house heats up SO much and doesn't cool down at all. Ugh we really need to do something about it, and soon because I think we'll be getting more weather like this for sure. We stayed until well after 9pm at night and when Diane dropped us back home it was still well over 30 degrees and seemed hotter inside our house than outside!

Day 149

Monday 12th January

Awaiting massage...

Still awaiting massage...

Mmmm. Massage!

Day 148

Sunday 11th January

Today Rob's parents came up on the train, which was nice. They got here at about 10am and took turns cuddling Hunter, who woke up not long after they arrived. As usual, they came armed with plenty of food for us, which was nice, including a stack of fresh beans from Sam's garden. Yum! I will eat them all raw by themselves, lol. They stayed until about 4:30 and then left to catch a train into Geelong to look around there for a bit before getting the train back to Colac. We got some family pics before they left!

Day 147

Saturday 10th January

Watching races with Dad and big brother Zak

Day 146

Friday 9th January

Hunter playing on his rug!

Day 145

Thursday 8th January

Cass! You will like these pics! I've been putting Hunter to bed with a toy... something to amuse him before he goes to sleep, or to comfort him off back to sleep if he wakes before he's ready. I thought Monkey would be a good options, because he's soft, has long limbs to hang onto and sits nicely beside him without being all bulky. I always put Monkey beside Hunter and the side of the cot and when I went in to check on him today, he was like...cuddling him! had him all tucked into the crook of his arm, I thought it was so cute.

Day 144

Wednesday 7th January

Hunter in his Elephant suit... present from Aunty Cass, Uncle Ryan and Miss Ruby for Christmas! And yep, still playing with the bauble!

Day 143

Tuesday 6th January

Hunter has been showing a lot of interest in sitting up lately and although he can't yet do it by himself, he likes it when you grab his hands and pull him up into a sitting position. He gets so proud of himself, like he knows that he's doing something new and clever. Rob took these shots today, he loved it!

And yes, Mum & Dad. He is in the grey and blue suit. It is currently his pyjamas, as it's light enough for if it's a warm night, and yet will be ok if the temp drops too. And also - I love this outfit on him and I can't find anymore. So yes, I'm flogging it to death!

This just goes to show... the apple NEVER falls far from the tree!

I like #4 in the 5th... how bout you?

Beaten a nose!

Caught him mid-sneeze!!

The stare of a punting tragic

Day 142

Monday 5th January

Hunter does a lil light reading before bed!
