Hunter's First Year: December 2008

Thursday 25th December

Merry Christmas!!!

This is going to be one massive post! We tried to take a photo of Hunter with each of the presents he got so that the people who weren't with him today could see him with his gifts! Hunter had a good sleep, had a bottle and a cuddle before we moved into the living room to open presents. He was pretty spoiled! After opening the pressies, he was very tired and he went back to bed for a nap while Rob and I got ready. We were leaving at about 10:30 to pick up the kids in Bannockburn to go to Colac and we got there pretty much right on time. After swapping the carseat over, we were off to Colac.

We had a very nice Christmas lunch - there was a LOT of food! I was starving, as I hadn't had anything to eat, but I think I still only managed one plate of food and a dessert. I had a couple of drinks with Ree and Chelle and had a great day, lol. After everyone's lunch had settled, we did the opening of the presents and once again, Hunter got pretty spoiled. Then we all sat outside for a while and took some big group pictures. It was a bit unfortunate that we had to leave so early, but we had to get the kids back to Bannockburn for their family dinner.

It was a beautiful Christmas day.

Flutter bug toy from Great Nan and Pop - he really showed a lot of interest in this when I unwrapped it. I think it was because of all the bright colours
