Another hot one. 33 degrees by 11am but the day stayed overcast, not sunny so Hunter's room stayed very cool and he was able to sleep pretty well! His skin was a bit dry so I gave him a massage this morning. He loves massages.
Yesterday when I went in to have a shower, I was in the bathroom and had just shut the door when I saw, in the mirror, this massive fricken huntsman! So I skedaddled to the man of the house to kill, kill, kill. Only while briefly looking away from the spider... it disappeared. And we did not know where. Needless to say, I did not go in the ensuite the whole day! Tonight when we were going to bed, I checked around the roof of our bedroom and BAM! There it was. Right above my head! Freaked again..and ran out into the lounge room. This time tho, he did NOT escape. He was squished dead and the ensuite is safe again.
