Today was Rob's birthday! Happy (31st) Birthday Rob :P
We made it into Geelong today, actually got there pretty early, just after 10:30! We went to Target and had a bit of a look around. I went and found some more photo frames to see if they were still on special. Scanned some and they came up at $4.47, so even cheaper than last time! So I grabbed 5 and I also found an awesome outfit for Hunter to wear on Xmas Day. Borders was finally open, so we went there after having an early lunch and it is awesome. Two stories of books, every category you can think of and a few you'd never come up with. We wandered around happily for a while but Lil Man started making protests from the pram so we headed off to the parents room for a nappy change and bottle. Parents Room was like Grand Central Station! Then we went back to Borders for more looking around (Hunter fell asleep in his pram, all his needs had been met, lol) and then we went to Big W. Rob had a voucher for there from his parents, so we got him some shirts and some car seat covers and he had to buy Hunter some shoes!
Later that night Paul and Diane took us out to dinner down at Fisherman's Pier on the wharf at Geelong. It was pretty posh - small, but filling servings of very "pretty" food. I had the parmesan and pumpkin risotto which was quite nice. Paul ordered a pork belly and scallop entree and doesn't like pork so I had the pork belly. It was very nice!! I cut it with a butter knife and the knife just slid through it! Di had barramundi for her main, Paul had John Dory (I could never eat John Dory, even if I did like fish. Not after seeing Nemo, lol) and Rob had Moroccan Lamb. Lil Man was a bit restless with the noise, but he was very well behaved! He never really cried, just occasionally let out a noise to let us know that he was still awake in his pram and would like to be held, please. Eventually I rocked him off to sleep and he slept for about the last hour we were there.
Came home at 11pm and gave Di the 20 pounds of barramundi that was in our freezer lol.
