Miss Charli Mae's Naming Day!
It was a nice, warm, sunny day. Muggy too, after all that rain. It was a nice casual laid-back ceremony - only thing was the celebrant called Kali "Carly" throughout most of it, lol. We solemnly swore to always be there for Charli should she need it and we got cute little keepsakes - a framed pic of Charli, a nice lil poem and her stamped footprints. Big LOL moment - Josh giving one to Nathan that said "Godmother" without even realising - he obviously read the poem (not!).
After the ceremony we mostly just sat around eating, lol. And socialising. So far everyone from up there is coming down for Hunter's first birthday in August. I asked Grandma today and she was very keen.

Unfortunately, Rob was shattered. It started raining about 6pm so we had to call off our trip to Wauchope dogs, given that we had no idea what sort of facilities they had for rain. It wouldn't have mattered if it was just Rob and I, but we couldn't take Hunter without knowing if there was a proper covered, sheltered area, preferably inside. And it would've been no fun anyway - wouldn't be able to watch them parade, or go down along the fence and watch from the post. Double bugger - at least 2 of Rolly's offspring were in and one of them won :( Would've been a great thrill for us to have seen that. We will get there soon Rob. I promise! Lol
