Day 309

Saturday 20th June

This is going to be a mammoth post! Today was Jorja's deb. It's been a long time coming this deb - much drama and planning! Thankfully for Jorja, it all went pretty much perfectly.

Before the deb, we went around to Jorja's deb partner Ricky's place. The limo brought Jorja from Bannockburn to Lara to Ricky's and the other 2 going in the limo with Jorja and Ricky met at Ricky's. We wanted some pics of Jorja all done up, pics of her with her partner and pics of her with the limo. She also really wanted to see Hunter before she went, and get a photo with him, so that was really nice.

It was a good night. Jorja looked beautiful and Rob, Tone, Ree, Mary and I were on our own table and had a fun time! We also got the professional photos done, so can't wait to see what they are like!

Day 308

Friday 19th June

We had Paul and Diane over for dinner tonight for a catch up and for them to spend some time with Hunter as they're babysitting him tomorrow night while we're at Jorja's deb. They just observed his routine and spent some time playing with him. Paul in particular played a lot of silly games with him and Hunter loved it. I dont think he will even notice we're gone! As long as someone is playing with him and paying some attention, I don't think it really matters who the person is!

Wednesday 17th June

Hunter is 10 months old today. It has gone so fast! Only 2 short months until he is 1yr old and not really a "baby" anymore. Probably I should get organising his birthday or something!

Wow, today is day 300 with Hunter! It has seriously gone so fast. He will be 1 soon before we know it and not a baby anymore! Today he is rocking a super cute little outfit that his great-Nana Shirley and Poppy Max bought and sent down.

I forgot to take a pic of Hunter today so I had to sneak into his room again and take one after he'd gone to bed. This was taken at 10:44pm. Love the tight grip he has on Monkey!

Hunter meets a puppy! We went to visit Paul and Diane today to see the Betty pups and the Witchy pups and just generally have a catch up. They have very nicely agreed to look after Hunter for them on the night of Jorja's deb which is awesome. I went in and played with the Betty pups who harrassed me repeatedly lol. It was fun tho! And I went in and snuggled up to the tiny Witchy pups who are only a month old. Paul yanked one out to introduce it to Hunter. Not sure which one was more freaked. The puppy was a frozen, deer in the headlights puppy. Not sure s/he moved at all. And Hunter was just bewildered! No idea what to do. It was hilarious and very cute!
